This year’s Festival promises heavy doses of both. At Ke’Opuolani Park Amphitheater, behind Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and opposite War Memorial Stadium there will be two stages offering a full day of live music and speakers, with action opportunities to make a difference, running non-stop from 10:00 am until 5:00 p.m. Overshadowed by the tragedy of the nuclear disaster in Together we can do it and the Earth Day Festival offers a wonderful opportunity to get together in that spirit with others who love the Earth and our human family! On this day we get to celebrate the earth and each other with all day music, dance and wonderful food. We will also get educated about different issues that concern all of us and can network and get involved in making a difference! Many of the island’s favorite musicians will be there to perform; environmental and social awareness organizations will have booths with latest updates on different issues and green vendors will feature their offerings toward a sustainable future and keiki fun & artistic expression will be offered. Bring your own cup and cutlery. Woven plates with banana leaves will be provided. There is a $7 cover charge to cover expenses, keiki are free. Community involvement is
encouraged. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available.
